Weav's 2022 Local Holiday Gift Guide

We are excited to announce our 2022 Holiday Gift Guide. Featuring over 40 local Spokane makers and small businesses, Weav has a gift for everyone on your holiday list this year.

Weav curates locally sourced gift baskets and gift boxes that are locally sourced, purposefully curated, and intentionally handcrafted

My name is Annie Krejci, the founder of Weav. My family and I have lived in Spokane for 9 years and have enjoyed the many benefits of a close-knit community.

One of the primary benefits is the quality of locally-made products. I started Weav to find a way to be a part of this community and with the goal of bringing together the abundance of the Greater Spokane Region.

Behind each local product in the gift is a story. There is a family with a reason why they started their business, and a meaning behind each quality product that they make.

That is why we aim to create baskets that not only make a beautiful gift for clients, friends, and family but also promote the talented businesses in Spokane.

+ Shopping Local Supports the Economy
When we shop local, the money we spend stays within the community, which supports a stronger economy. Local businesses support the economy by providing jobs for local residents.

I like this stat, "For every $100 you spend at locally owned businesses, $68 will stay in the community. What happens when you spend that same $100 at a national chain? Only $43 stays in the community."

+ Shopping Local Creates Relationships

Shopping local is better than shopping at a chain because you can associate a face to the product, service or restaurant. For example, when I started brainstorming the idea for Weav, one of the first things I did was talk to local business owners. I have met some incredible people. It is so fun to support and encourage those you've met and heard some of their story.

+ Shopping Local Supports Local Entrepreneurs
Did you know that Spokane was recently ranked for rate of entrepreneurship? For a variety of reasons, including quality of life, affordable housing, and a vibrant community, Spokane fosters its entrepreneurs. And what better way to support local entrepreneurs, grow our community, and keep our tax dollars in Spokane than shopping local?

Weav has created 4 holiday themed gift baskets and 4 gift boxes filled with some of the finest locally made products.
